We’re making plant-based fine dining a tasteful choice instead of a lifestyle sacrifice — and we’re doing it from West Hollywood, one of Los Angeles’ most demanding dining neighborhoods. Meet our chef
Jorge Guo
Jorge Guo is the co-founder and shareholder of Taste of Beauty, as well as an educational expert with more than two decades of experience. He has long devoted himself to academic and community education, and also serves as a spiritual mentor and wellness advocate, integrating educational philosophy, environmental responsibility, and holistic health into the core vision of the restaurant.
With his professional background in education and lifelong exploration of Eastern wisdom and mindful living, Jorge has provided the creative foundation that shapes Taste of Beauty. Rather than being a professional chef, he contributes as an educator and visionary, bringing compassion and eco-conscious values to inspire and guide the team. He believes that dining is an extension of cultural education—one that not only nourishes the body but also relaxes the mind and uplifts the spirit.
Guided by his expertise in education and passion for plant-based wellness, Jorge connects food, culture, and mindful living. His philosophy makes Taste of Beauty a space where thought and flavor coexist—nourishing both body and soul, while reminding us that eating responsibly is inseparable from living well.
